Whilst both Chartered Architectural Technologists and Architects are professionally qualified to lead a building project from inception through to completion there is an overlap between the two professions. The main difference is that a Chartered Architectural Technologist will have been trained in the science and technology of architecture whilst an Architect will have been trained in the design and philosophy of architecture.
Ian was efficient and responsive to our needs. He managed all the complex processes involved, from planning to completion and explained the costs that would be incurred in a detailed, transparent, and understandable way. Having a named individual providing the link between the builder, the local authority, and ourselves as a client was invaluable in smoothing the way to a successful conclusion. We were appreciative of his quick response to any queries we had along the way. He was happy to deal with our questions and to explain all options open to us.
