Ian McIntyre BSc (Hons) MCIAT
Ian is a Chartered Architectural Technologist with over 22 years of experience and a member of the chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (MCIAT).
A graduate in Architectural Studies from the University of Strathclyde, Ian has worked as an architectural technician and architectural technologist in both public and private sectors. He has gained considerable experience of managing all stages of building projects and has developed an extensive range of contacts that includes architects, product suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
As his career progressed Ian developed a keen interest in working closely with clients who wish to save money by extending or altering their property rather than moving home and in 2014 Ian left company practice to set up his own practice – Forth Architecture.
His past projects include work to a number of stately homes and iconic buildings in and around south of England, including the Natural History Museum in London, and the Empire and Commonwealth Museum in Bristol. His portfolio also includes a variety of nursery schools, primary schools, street architecture, and commercial properties, together with a wide range of domestic operations, conversions and extensions throughout central Scotland.
